Koyao Island Resort is located on Koh Yao Noi in the famous archipelago of Phang Nga Bay in southern Thailand. Remote, yet easily accessible, we are surrounded by secluded beaches, rain forests and uninhabited islands in a place where mass tourism and hotels are far away and the original Thai hospitality has free reign.
Our resort is designed in a traditional Thai architectural style which blends graciously into a coconut palm setting. Each villa faces the beach for stunning views over the bay.
Our Thai-style villas are created to strike the perfect balance between nature and a bespoke, western-style luxurious standard. Our villas are an open style design and encompass the beautiful surroundings. They are made from local materials with natural palm leaf roofs, which along with the glorious sea breeze, allow for a cool and comfortable stay.
Our beachfront villas, direct on the beach have spectacular views over the James Bond archipelago with over 220m of our own beachfront.

I had a really hard time deciding which Island to go to. I wanted a place that had a great beach, crystal clear water, and an amazing resort. We did not have that much time so I struggled to decide if it was worth going to an Island that was further away. We finally decided on Koyao Island Resort but it was hard to get a lot of information so I am hoping to provide that here for anyone doing their research. More

Having spent the first part of our Thailand holiday in a super 5 star hotel, we were slightly concerned as to whether we had done the right thing in going to a tent for the second part of our holiday! We need not have worried as the 9 Hornbills tent which are separate to, but part of the Kayao Island Resort was fantastic.More

Highly recommended, great area, beautiful beach, nice and friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast, nice trips to other islands possible.
This is really a great resort on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Unfortunately, the seawater is not completely clean, suspended matter and nettle plankton, but unfortunately this is now almost everywhere in Thailand. More

Ignore any criticisms in other reviews, this place is fantastic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and in particular I would mention Fon. Huge bed, inside and outside showers. Fabulous views of the karsts in the Andaman sea. The 16 villas are spread along a 200m beach and so you never feel crowded. Very urbane Swiss GM. More
