Experience Koh Yao Noi from a bird’s eye view! Try something new and enjoy the thrill of rock climbing. Climbers of all abilities are welcome. Koh Yao Noi has over 150 rock climbs for beginners and experts alike. Combine your day of rock climbing with sightseeing, island hopping, or just relaxing on quiet beaches. Mark started climbing on the mainland in 1995. He came to Koh Yao Noi and started The Mountain Shop with his wife in 2004. He and his climbing partners have developed over 150 rock climbs on Koh Yao Noi and the surrounding islands. Dut is from Tha Khao Village and has been climbing since he was a small boy, collecting birds nest for the local trade. Some of our other climbing guides are locals who excel in the sport, while others have come to Koh Yao specifically for the climbing the island offers. Most of the climbs are equipped with titanium bolts, the safest form of protection. We continually update all our climbing routes to keep them as safe as possible. We have the safest climbing equipment and also the latest in rescue equipment. Climbing trips are designed for beginners and experience climbers alike. We offer an introductory course if you have never climbed before, as well as more challenging climbs if you are an experience climber.
