Koyao Island Resort is located on Koh Yao Noi in the famous archipelago of Phang Nga Bay in southern Thailand. Remote, yet easily accessible, we are surrounded by secluded beaches, rain forests and uninhabited islands in a place where mass tourism and hotels are far away and the original Thai hospitality has free reign.
Our resort is designed in a traditional Thai architectural style which blends graciously into a coconut palm setting. Each villa faces the beach for stunning views over the bay.
Koyao Island Resort
a perfect retreat from the hustle
and bustle of everyday life
Our Thai-style villas are created to strike the perfect balance between nature and a bespoke, western-style luxurious standard. Our villas are an open style design and encompass the beautiful surroundings. They are made from local materials with natural palm leaf roofs, which along with the glorious sea breeze, allow for a cool and comfortable stay.
Our beachfront villas, direct on the beach have spectacular views over the James Bond archipelago with over 220m of our own beachfront.
Our 3 Sea Breeze Studios are open air and lofty, located in the heart of the resort on 1st floor.
Our 6 Beach Villas have bedroom with in and outdoor shower in private garden and separate living room.
Our 5 Beach Villa Suites offer a larger living space and a generous bathroom with a double bathtub and showers.
Our 4 Family Beach Villas can accomodate a family of 4 up to 6 with a large open plan living space and indoor as well outdoor bathrooms.
A high end luxury safari tented lodge, on its own isolated, 7 acre site, with a 200 meter private beach. This Lodge has hosts on call 24/7.
An exclusive location with a gorgeous view and great luxury bungalows on the sea shore. So quiete and safe that no keys are even given.
The swimming pool just next the sea is superb.
The service and staff are very nice.
Truly beautiful and unspoiled. Beautiful landscape with the magnificent ocean view. Very nice décor villa and the most comfortable bed. Very relaxing place and plenty of activities for guests to enjoy. Amazing little touches from the hotel with the complimentary boat trip, yoga, bicycles and management cocktails. Beautiful view from the pool but the only downside is just a little bit too small.
The staff are friendly and helpful and made the resort that much more special.
My husband and I spent 6 days at this hotel and we don't want to leave. We will definitely coming back.
Stayed 5 nights on our 3 week tour - the pictures are just like it! :)
Not a very big resort and you are right on the beach (30m away) with fantastic views of the beach, sea and islands. Place was private. Food as you would expect is near perfect and the bar area is a great place to chill before and after your meals.
One thing that is not mentioned a lot is the wildlife at the Resort - it feels untouched. Many types of butterflies and birds (Toucans) as well as the usual insects at night. One morning there was a Monitor Lizard, All staff were the very best and friendly and could not do enough to help you with anything. This was proven twice when we had an issue with our Villa and fixed beyond our expectation very quickly even at 10pm.
Resort and Pool were spotless through our stay. Would stay here again.

Great location on the beach, fantastic staff who always went out of there way to ensure that you were made to feel comfortable. Amazing food and great service in the restaurant. Lovely rooms - great outdoor shower area. The use of mountain bikes was a nice touch. All in all a wonderful stay - well managed and run - couldn't ask for more. Well done to the team!!
